Wireless stuck validating identity

27 Feb

Verizon is dedicated to protecting our customers and other customers from identity theft.

In the unfortunate event that your identity has been stolen and used to initiate unauthorized Verizon, Verizon Wireless, or FIOS services, we have provided the ability to file a claim online.

If you are unsure of the location or type (wireless or wireline) of account you are disputing, you may continue to submit your claim here.

I can access it via a LAN wired connection but the computer does not have WPA2 capabilities.

Ok so I setup the router to only transmit wireless N and to use WPA2 only.

When setting up WPA you will see the option for either a radius server (Enterprise, and you see this in the corporate environment) or a place to enter a passphrase (Pre Shared Key, PSK).

Uncheck "The key is provided for me automatically" and enter and confirm your Network key.

I have a laptop with a Dell D630 with Wi Fi power switch on the side.
